FIFA 12 DLC: EM 2012

Electronic Arts announced today that EA SPORTS™ will celebrate UEFA EURO 2012™ with the only officially licensed videogame of the 2012 European Football Championship, which begins June 8 in Poland and Ukraine.

UEFA EURO 2012™ will be available as an expansion pack to fans who own EA SPORTS FIFA 12 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Available from 24 April for £15.99 (1,800 MS Points or 2,500 FIFA Points on PC), EA SPORTS UEFA EURO 2012 will recreate all the drama and excitement of the official tournament with all 53 UEFA member national teams, all eight official stadiums in the tournament, and all the pageantry and atmosphere of one of the largest and most-watched sporting events on the planet.
Fans will be able to compete online* for national pride and glory as their favourite European country in the UEFA EURO 2012™ tournament against rival nations in the group stage, progress through the knockout rounds and ultimately compete for the chance to be crowned UEFA EURO 2012™ champion.

Plus, a live service will drive real-life storylines into the game from the qualifying campaign and the tournament itself, enabling fans to relive dramatic moments with challenges based on real-life matches. Challenges will enable fans to earn experience points and level up their EA SPORTS Football Club profile.

“This game will tap into the passion fans have for their national teams by capturing all of the national rivalries in-game, and re-creating all the emotion of the UEFA EURO 2012™ tournament,” said Producer Sebastian Enrique. “We are utilizing the best-playing FIFA videogame ever, driving live, digital content created from the biggest headlines from the tournament into the game, and offering an exclusive new mode that will challenge gamers in unique and compelling ways.”

Expedition Mode

The all-new Expedition Mode, designed exclusively for UEFA EURO 2012, enables fans to build, manage and compete with a customised team against other European nations, crafting the perfect strategy for European domination. Fans will choose their favourite European player or FIFA 12 Virtual Pro to captain their customised team, win matches to earn better players from defeated nations, and then defeat the best nations to earn the best players in a campaign quest to defeat all 53 countries and complete the journey to conquer Europe.

FEATURES;

Euro 2012 will be available as DLC on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Euro 2012 will be released on April 24th/25th depending on your region/platform.
It will cost £15.99 – Euro 19.99
53 European Nations will be available for use.
All 8 fully licensed Euro 2012 stadia complete with real life camera angles.
The DLC is based on the Euro 2012 tournament finals only, not qualification.
Euro 2012 tournament play will be available offline and online.
An all-new “Expedition mode” where you build your dream team and try to dominate Europe (more on this later).
Custom Euro 2012 commentary will be available in certain European languages.
Daily Challenges will be available when Euro 2012 kicks off on the 8th June.
10 new Trophies/Achievements will be added.
No major gameplay changes are being made, Euro 2012 will run on the existing FIFA 12 engine.
All nations that have qualified for the Euro 2012 finals will receive squad updates before the tournament starts.
All Euro 2012 progress will be tracked by EA SPORTS Football Club.

Er der nogle som har hørt eller læst noget om der kommer en slags "captain your country" mode? Altså coop hvor man på en konsol kan styre hver sin spiller?

Umiddelbart er jeg bange for at der slet ikke kommer coop og hvis der gør, så er det online hvor hver spiller skal have hver sin konsol... hvis det overhovedet kommer

Hvis der er nogle som hører/læser noget om coop i UEFA EURO 2012 må i meget gerne skrive det! Det var uden tvivl det bedste ved Fifa world cup

Nej hvor troller EA meget. Ingen Captain Your Country, men i stedet for får vi Expedition Mode. De har indtil videre sagt to ting om det.

1. De skriver at man kan vælge ens "favourite European player or FIFA 12 Virtual Pro".

2. Derudover har de svaret på et spørgsmål på twitter, hvor spørgsmålet er: Is expedition mode co-op?

EAs svar er: Expedition is offline only, but you can play it multiplayer offline if you wish.

Hvad fanden er det for et trololololol svar! Fatter EA ikke hvad coop er eller er det bare ekstremt dårlige til at komme med et svar. De skriver at man kan spille expedition mode i offline multiplayer. Men de skriver intet om man så alle kan være en "virtual pro" eller om det er coop. Jeg håber godt nok at hver spiller kan vælge hver deres "virtual pro" og spille på samme hold for ellers er det da til grin. Ellers giver det da heller ingen mening at spille multiplayer i expedition mode.

Jeg krydser alle mine fingre og så håber jeg på at EA snart kommer med et ordentligt svar...

Endnu en ting der glæder mig over jeg købte Season Ticket før FIFA Street er, at prisen nedsættes på Euro 2012 DLC. Det er begyndt at betale sig! Dog ingen tidlig version.
